When you play with the white balance...

So, I look like a smurf. But one wearing this Tulle top I got forever ago and haven't yet debuted.

Buy I document anyway. And slowly I get better at my camera.

One of these days

So, I'll eventually get caught up. I've got a huge backlog of pics, and as I'm updating my chictopia account, I'm trying to keep them at the same place. Since chictopia has a limit to daily uploads, its going a wee bit slow. But stay tuned and I'll get there soon!

And yes, I do start all of my posts with "So," on purpose. I talk like that, its true. "So," has become my go-to segway, particularly since I tend to branch between completely unrelated bits of thought. So a weak segway fits me, since I'm so scatterbrained. I'm not so egotistical to say I'm starting a "thing," but I guess I am doing that...

On my other blog I hand out gold stars. I guess I just can't function without a "thing."

Cozy Comfy

So, I tried a stoic, dreamy type face. It sorta worked, no? Quite the contrast to last post, chock full of my wonderfully...ahem...quirky expressions.

The new/old item is this striped white skirt I thrifted last year. Its Talbots, via a local consignment shop, and a wonderfully classic little basic. It's a little wrinkled and caught on my tights in these pics, but I'm not so worried as I kind of look a little orphan-esque anyways.

Pardon me while I cuddle with this sweater -- which has elbow patches! I love it to bits, and it is another one of my 7 dollars well spent.

Very casual

So, I've relapsed, dear readers. Into my college uniform -- shirt, cardigan, jeans and flats. I generally dress up more nowadays (the loose schedule helps -- I was a work-a-holic insane student). But once in a while I get a little comfy.

The new/old item is the flowered cardigan. I spotted it at Aeropostale (a place I rarely shop) in the store window. A few months later I happened to be wandering the mall after my shift, and wandered in to see if it was still there. It was, on clearance for 7 dollars. I love it when that happens.

Faces were not my strong suit this day.  All of them are either slightly scandalized or very cheesy.

See my awesome Children's accessories? Yeah, I own polka-dot little girls earrings with little metal bows. And the matching bracelet.

Sweet Somethings

So, I am in love with this dress. First off, it is a shirtdress which FITS. Anything with buttons is usually a challenge to my considerable bosomage. It is also one of many pieces which is slowly convincing me that my life love is Old Navy. It's also a nice delicate chambray, which is one of my favorite fabrics.

The Cardigan, however, is my BOC item. I have a lot of cardigans, not many of them get limelight. Sadly, this one may be getting retired as it is too short buttoned up, and the colors, when you look at the pattern closely, are just a little off -- I'm not super matchy, but I like something to go off of.

I really can't tell whether I'm wearing my purple tights or black ones.... Hence why I should be better at this and post my pictures whilst I remember what I actually wore.

When I got home I decided I should try the shirt under. I liked it better, but alas, I was home and comfy.

Work remix

So, nothing sartorially exciting was happening, so I'll post what I wore to work. Which happens to include this thrifted Nine West swing jacket. You can't see it in the pics, but it has a subtle polka dot in the weave. I need to find out how to take better pictures. Anyway, I found this pink bow headband and tote at work, and, well, they were coming home with me. As I checked out, my manager proudly states "You've gone over to the dark side, you've graduated from the headbands." By the way, I work at a children's clothing store. We're so good at being grown up.

Carmel, Toffee and Candy

So, I don't have a story here. Partly because I'm uploading pictures from a month ago. So, pardon me whilst I empty my memory card. The new/old item: Pink, lacy goodness. I forget how wonderfully girly this piece is. Especially mixed with a flippy skirt. And I really can't tell you how much I adore my Christmas boots.

My awesome giant bow cuff.

You're going to see this face a lot. Sorry, its a tic.
