Spinning round

So, it was acting particularly springy. What was I to do but put on a skirt and prance around the yard? I was really excited to receive this charmeuse skirt for 9 dollars in my mail, and with a few minor adjustments, it was ready to go.

Once again, I was playing with the white balances.  And while I like how these pictures turned out all pastel, but it doesn't do justice to the color of the skirt. It's quite a vibrant teal, so vibrant all I could think to pair with it was black (ie. my new/old piece, this polka-dot blouse I picked up from Plato's Closet.) And pink tights. And originally the black loafers below, but I decided the boots brought a little contrast to the swing and sweetness.

And then I experimented with arms-length photos to get the fact that, yes, I was wearing a lot of pearls.

A bit precious seventies

So, these jeans ave been on the rack because they didn't fit, but I loved the style (you can't really tell in these pictures, but they're quite high-waisted in a corseted way.) I've been a fan of seventies style (done my way) so they came back out!

But of course, I can't resist a cheeky high bun with a bow and pearl earrings :)
